The Challenge

Oishi Pan Bakery offers a wide variety of tasty baked Japanese goods in a small quaint little bread shop at Toa Payoh, Singapore. They were doing decently well and later opened 2 more stalls – one at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the other at Nanyang Polytechnic.

Even Dennis Chew Chong Kheng, also known as Zhou Chongqing, a Singapore Deejay celebrity from Love 97.2FM has raved about Oishi Pan Bakery. 

Despite putting in little marketing efforts, their social media platforms have about 2000 plus followers and they were also featured in local news, Lian He Zao Bao. This just shows how much Singaporean loves their bread.

One of the founders wanted to expand their business by reaching out to corporate clients and offer catering services to private events. In order to reach more audiences, they know that marketing their services in the Google Search Engine is needed.

They needed a marketer that could build their marketing campaigns and grow it along with them. But funds were a little tight for Oishi Pan Bakery and they know little about digital marketing. So, we had a lot of brainstorming sessions with the founders and worked out a marketing plan based on the budget that they can invest.


The Goal

I started building Oishi Pan Bakery’s website and marketing roadmap from almost ground up – as a fresh startup. There were 2 main goals that we have planned while matching their business objectives with their budget:

  • To create each webpage that acts as a landing page for visitors to take action. This means ensuring that their on-page SEO for each webpage like their title tag and meta description are properly planned and setup. 
  • To set up Google Analytics, Google Search Console and update their company’s details in their Google My Business Account.   

In order to capture the attention of potential customers and encourage them to contact Oishi Pan Bakery, it was critical that the copywriting on the website is updated with useful information. I wanted to provide as much self-help information as possible so that the user experience can also be enhanced.

Project Summary

I was able to deliver the website for Oishi Pan Bakery in just a few short 5 days after our discussion. 

As the entire website is built with a solid foundation of SEO, it was able to rank for the following targeted keywords even though it is a completely new website: 

  • Bread supplier Singapore
  • Wholesale bakery Singapore
